For this project, I customized a starter HTML/CSS template to create a promotional website for StudyBuddy, the tutoring‑match app I developed in my UX research assignments. The goal was to take an existing webpage structure and transform it into a fully branded, topic‑specific site using semantic HTML, cohesive styling, and user‑focused design choices.
I updated the site metadata, navigation, headlines, and content sections to reflect the StudyBuddy brand, writing original copy and organizing information clearly for potential users. I incorporated images, external links, and new content sections to enhance the page’s purpose and visual appeal. Using CSS, I modified colors, spacing, typography, and layout elements to create a cleaner and more polished interface that visually matched the StudyBuddy identity. I also added additional selectors and styling beyond the minimum requirements to elevate the design and create a more engaging user experience.
This project highlights my ability to take a basic template and transform it into a cohesive, functional, and aesthetically aligned webpage while applying foundational HTML/CSS skills and UX design principles.
